Here we are back with our another blog post! It’s been a while since the last post but we still have a lot of work to do on Mountain Rage. New maps have been already added ingame and they’re much harder and more rewarding than the previous tracks you’ve already played since the release. Biggest focus was to release iOS version in past days, maybe one and half week. The main problem was when we tried to build iOS version for the first time we encountered a lot of major bugs and glitches that didn’t happen to our android version and how we tried to handle these bugs and glitches by fixing them as soon as possible, other bugs and glitches apperead until we figured out where was the catch. Yes! We play Mountain Rage on iPhone! As we mentioned iOS version above, we are glad to anounce that we’ve already made it to the stage when the game is officially released on both platforms, running stable with no functionality bugs at the moment. Map in the new GUI Our next goal is to improve User Interface (next mentions only UI), the whole team sat down and discussed the options and we came out with pretty interesting scetches and prototypes and it’s looking really promising. We aim to improve UI in such way, that it would be more intuitive, easier to work with it – the buttons in the menu, for example, will be better placed and we’ll remove all unnecessary buttons that were more confusing than rather helpful. And we also discussed 2D graphical option of the menu itself, since it’s not as hardware demanding as the actual 3D menu, but it’s still only a concept – since it still needs a lot of things to do till we can release 2D model. A lot of things happend in Mountain Rage during last month. FuttesX team planned to reorganise the pace of the game a bit by simply adding new funny and entertaining features. Features as snowcat riding horizontaly in the particular area of the track, we also added snowmobile that goes up the hill directly to you, trying to hit you. The next thing we added is a huge billboard with a random ingame related picture which looks great, when you’re about to ride just under then the billboard itself starts falling. Last but not least is the hot dog kiosk that falls out of nowhere, right from the skies and lands in front of your character. All those things you have to avoid to not get killed by them. This adds so much funnier element into the game and it’s also refreshing for the pace and keeping your patience more to not die, making collecting skiers much more difficult as intended. Snowcat The game has the new update with the features mentioned above and it’s already time for this game to be ported for iOS aswell. The port is already in state of work, but we are still fixing and tweaking major but also minor bugs that happend due to the port, which is really unfortunate and we didn’t expect such a stuck at some point. But hopefully the iOS version will be verified by Apple and you’ll be able to download the game on your devices as soon as possible. Snowmobile We are also working on the new tracks which will be themed as the 3rd mountain but is going to be far more diffcult than the 3rd one. All collectibles will be harder to get and you’ll have to be more patient, because you’ll crash a lot there.

We have a brand new, better and more descriptive name for the game! We are pleased to announce that our new game called MOUNTAIN RAGE! Name Avalanche for us seemed misguided. Instead of avalanches play as a shaman possessed by animals. Therefore we decided to change. This week we also released the Alpha version. Some of the shots you could see on our social networks. On our FuttesX Instagram is even a video. The Alpha version came a big test. We tested both in the office and on the streets. We tested throughout the Czech Republic, including the capital city. With our beautiful hostesses anyone could play and tell us your feelings about playing. At the first testing it turned out great. The course of these Alpha test we still have to evaluate, but we believe that the game Mountain Rage had success on the streets. Menu in the Alpha version The next day, we want to correct various errors in the game. Next we'll add new content to the game. Every week should come new content such as new playable characters, new tracks and new wearable stuff for animals, for which you play.
Finally we would like to announce that the game will come to Google Play on October 10, 2016 or October 17, 2016. It depends how the test turned out on the streets :) But soon wait a version for iOS! In our development team we have received reinforcements. We work faster than ever and the quality of play is now improved. The game now looks 100% better. The main change in recent weeks is the principle of playing. Already you will not play like icy ball, but like deer, which has the task of destroy skier, for which it receives the soul. Souls can subsequently be exchanged for various improvements to your character. Every mountain, after which you ride will have its own specific characteristics as other animals, trees, rocks, buildings, etc. For example, on one of the mountains meet the deer and the other mountain bears Concept of gears for characters Now we are creating interesting and entertaining tracks of fun and full of obstacles. Each track is unique because we have many models. In the game you collect artifacts, colliding skier, avoiding the pitfalls of nature or jump on skokáncích. Each track is carefully tested and finishing up in such forms that are fun, but also progressively more difficult. You'll need to become a professional for finish some tracks! The game will be designed more for younger players, but they are often better in playing games than the older players, so Avalanche will be challenge also for older players Each track is unique 21st of September we will publish Alpha version. People will test the game on the streets in the capital of Czech Republic. If you're from Prague, so you have a great chance of being near shopping centers, our hostesses will meet you. You'll get to play Avalanche and give us feedback. Additionally, if you give us your email so we can send you new games, so you'll always among the first to be able to play our games.
And finally, we have great news for you! We plan to release the game on Android, iOS and also on Windows Phone. Issuance of games on the platform, but it will be gradual. The primary focus is on Google Play and iOS. Publish game for Windows Phone plan to soon. We know that Windows Phone is not as widespread, but we do not want impoverish these people. As we promised on our Facebook page, the FuttesX team has created new animals and skiers, and now we will introduce them to you. First, let's explain a bit what is low poly graphics. Then let's talk about what you'll see next. Low poly is a polygon mesh in 3D computer graphics that has a relatively small number of polygons. Low poly meshes occur in real-time applications (e.g. games) and contrast with high poly meshes in animated movies and special effects of the same era. Arya Stark (GoT) - Low poly graphics The term low poly is used in both a technical and a descriptive sense; the number of polygons in a mesh is an important factor to optimize for performance but can give an undesirable appearance to the resulting graphics. Daenerys Targaryen (GoT) - Low poly graphic Avalanche lived to see a new revival. We have added new textured animals and we think they are really good! These animals will be running through the mountains, and you'll showering them as an avalanche. Meanwhile, we have a fully finished hare and deer. Recently we have also remodeled our skier, who now has full colors. Hi guys! Another week, another step in the game evolution. As you know, music has a great impact in movies, but it is also very important in games. Finally FuttesX has the first version of music to play in Avalanche! Music varies based on the speed and volume of the player's ball. The faster the ball goes, the more dynamic the music. We'll continue to improve the game and maybe publish a teaser soon. This is a basic example of our music A big step forward for Avalanche is the so-called target render. A target render is a document that describes all the models in the game. It indicates a direction for these models. The result is a uniform style. Without the target render anyone could create a model, but the in the end there might be many different model styles, which would look very bad. When the new route is complete, we will unify everything. We will incorporate the models, music, animations, and sounds into the route. The game will be far more playable than it was before.
FuttesX decided that Avalanche will be added to Steam Greenlight. Steam Greenlight is a way to get your game on Steam. How does it work? It's easy. The game gets uploaded and the Steam community decides whether they like the game or not. If the community enjoys the game, it has a great chance to be included directly into the Steam store. This week we focused exclusively on our game Avalanche. We set up new processes so that we have a fully playable game within a month. Everything should be moving on faster now. Developers who previously worked on the game Niflhel are now more involved in Avalanche development. We are working hard to improve controllability and physics, to provide you the best gaming experience. We also focused on improving the camera view. This is the update for now. Next time, we'll show you a new route! It's the end of next week, and with it there are also news about our game Avalanche. During this week we added to the game models. We improved model of skiers and we also added a model animals. Now on the piste running around rabbits and bears. Additionally, they may already destroying the trees, which was previously impossible. Avalanche game was not very controllable, so we had to make changes even in physics. The game is starting to make sense. Moreover, we have prepared another map that you put into the game. Map is still a great deal to help provide unlimited fun game. A related leaderboard, thanks to which you can compare with your friends. We are looking forward to the game Avalanche play everyone! Each character will have different physical properties. Each map will be original and unique, and will require a different style. We have also added new sounds, new collision system and we have already created the first model of skiers, which you will be able to knock down! It will be great fun! Another game is a game with the working title "Simple Wars". We have been working on that for a long time, but it will be worth it. We are working intensively on a multiplayer mode and a map editor. You will therefore be able to play with your friend or with players around the world! Finally, we started to concentrate more on our new game with a huge potential. The game will be called Niflhel and at the very beginning of development looks fabulously. Of course there is still a lot of work before we can show our game to the world. In the game the player will be in the role of an old Viking warrior in the underworld, who died under questionable circumstances. Because of this it is not clear whether he gets to Valhalla or not. But the gods gave him the opportunity to get to Valhalla by fulfilling a task they assigned to him. Our team is currently working on a game design document for Niflhel and on a combat system to give you the greatest combat experience. Below you can see our work on the combat system. On the next picture you can see our work on the spawning system. Spawning drives what kind of enemies you will be fighting against or how many there will be. We're also solving the AI unit movement.
